Lauren Murrell is an entrepreneur, speaker and cancer survivor known for her powerful storytelling and passion for resilience. A former corporate lawyer turned founder, Lauren’s journey took a dramatic turn when she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. Against a 20% survival rate, she fought her way back - with her sister Sarah as her stem cell donor and, later, co-founder. Their shared experience gave rise to By Sarah, a skincare brand born from love and a need for natural solutions for sensitive skin.

Lauren’s legal career spanned London, New York and the British Virgin Islands (facing the wrath of Hurricane Irma), and she holds degrees from Oxford University (First Class Honours) and the University of Law. She’s also an alumna of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB programme.

An inspiring voice on courage, recovery and growth, Lauren has raised significant funds for cancer research, served as Vice Chair of The Little Princess Trust, and shared her story in The Times, British Vogue, Forbes and on podcasts including Deliciously Ella and The Power Hour.
